AMAHOKDESIGNS is ready(?) or at least almost ready for the Grand Re-Launch on Shopify!

I am a terrible online shop owner.  I always have been.  It is not easy for me to sit in front of a computer and describe the reason I chose to make a piece.  It is always about the ROCK.  I can't wrap a pendant unless I like the stone. About our name

I am frequently asked about the name of my shop.  I love folk stories and traditional tales of life and indigenous people.  "Amahok" was found in an Inuit folk story.  It tells the tale of two children who become lost in a snow storm, are found and protected by a white wolf.   I loved the tale and became attached to the theme of the "white wolf spirit" during the time I was showing Siberian Huskies.  I found that many people associated these wonderful dogs with the wolf because of their appearance.  Watching them, I realized that they did indeed share...
